Abstract

A case report is a type of scientific publication resulting from descriptive observational studies whose purpose is to report a rare event, sometimes unprecedented, with peculiar aspects in terms of clinical history, symptoms, epidemiology, target population, diagnostic techniques, and therapeutic approach.
