Authors are permitted to deposit all versions of their articles in institutional or thematic digital repositories, which means self-archiving is allowed for the following versions:
- Pre-print;
- Post-print/Manuscript accepted by the author;
- Published article (registered version).
This journal uses the LOCKSS system from the Public Knowledge Project (PkP) to create a distributed archiving system among the journals of the São Paulo State Health Department, enabling the creation of permanent archives of the journal for preservation and restoration purposes.
The journal is also part of the Cariniana network, the Brazilian Network of Digital Preservation Services from the Brazilian Institute of Science and Technology (IBICT). See also: Keepers.
