Hansenologia Internationalis advocates for the use of inclusive language, recognizing diversity and respecting all individuals in ensuring more equal opportunities.
Inclusive language utilizes the resources of language to gradually eliminate and transform the use of words and expressions that may be considered discriminatory and stigmatizing towards socially underrepresented, unprotected, or vulnerable individuals, groups, or communities to stereotypes, negative perceptions, and attributions. To this end, it recommends reading and using the Guide for the Use of Inclusive Language.
